Ginkgo Farms Beef CSA

As part of Ginkgo Farm's ongoing effort to replenish the land and strengthen community we're proud to offer Ginkgo Farm's very own CSA program!  A fantastic way to try our locally raised grass fed and finished beef at tremendous value. Looking to experiment with cuts you've had an eye on? Our CSA is your opportunity to receive the "Farmers Select Choice" every month at less than retail!  

Why Choose A CSA?

Our monthly CSA runs for 3 month, 6 months or 9 months… choose whichever option that works best for you and your family. CSA pickup dates are the first Saturday of each month in our FarmStore. (Don’t worry, we will send an email reminder each month!) If you miss a pickup date, no worries…we are flexible… simply reply to the email reminder and let us know and you can grab it the following week.

Our monthly meat CSAs are a perfect way to enjoy a variety of top-quality meats directly from our farm! Our CSA’s are packed with anything from a variety of beef.    Each bag is different, and no one cut is guaranteed.   Each individual piece of meat is flash frozen, and vacuum sealed for freshness and convenience. 

What Do I Receive In My CSA Bag?

Each month your CSA bag will contain the Farmers Select Choice of 19-24 pounds of our beef. This selection will include a variety of ground meat, offal, bones, roasts and steaks from our grass fed and finished herd.  

How Much Does A Quarterly Share Cost?

A quarterly Ginkgo Farms CSA share costs $510 and includes 3 Successive Monthly pickups or the quarterly skip from our Ginkgo farm. The quantity of meat in your share will always be a value over buying the items individually at retail, so our CSA is a great way to keep your family stocked with high quality grass fed and finished local beef.

Your quarterly share will automatically renew at the end of your 3 month period for the next quarter. 

When Do I Pick Up My CSA Bag?

Your CSA Bag will be available for pickup at our Ginkgo farm on the first Saturday of the month between the hours of 9am-12pm.

We're very excited to be offering pasture tours from 8 am - 9 am prior to the start of pickups (weather permitting). We'll be available to answer questions about cattle, regenerative agriculture and the history of Ginkgo Farms. Bring your family, friends and dogs for a relaxing stroll through nature and a unique look at ADK cattle ranching. 

What If I Am Unable To Pick Up My CSA Bag?

If you miss a pickup date, no worries…we are flexible… simply reply to the email reminder and let us know and you can grab it the next pickup day or week. Please remember that the Member Bonus (if and when available) is no longer an option available for a missed pick up. Being a small farm we are unable to change pickup dates or times for CSA Bag pickup.

Can My CSA Bag Be Shipped?

Sorry, at this time our CSA Bags are only available for pickup on designated pickup days on the first Saturday of each month in our FarmStore.

We are GOING GREEN! We do our best to continue to be a no-waste farm; therefore, we decided to discontinue the use of cardboard boxes for the monthly CSA. Now…. each month, our CSA will come in a handy reusable insulated tote bag (if needed). We do charge a $12 deposit for each bag that will get refunded/credited when you return the bag the following month.
