Our birds have lots of room to roam and engage in their natural behaviors. With constant access to organic feed, water, shelter, bugs, fresh air, and sunshine, they are in pretty good shape.
We put the health of our chickens first, both because it’s the right thing to do, and because healthy chickens make healthy eggs with incredible flavor and loads of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.
Our chickens live in a large, netted outdoor area to protect them from predators and keep them separate from our beef herd. There is also a spacious attached chicken coop where they can roost and seek shelter in bad weather.
When it’s available, they have access to grassy pasture, but they always have plenty of room to roam around and engage in natural behaviors like dust bathing and scratching for bugs.
